Our B-Town Blog Readers are quite civic minded, of course, but sometimes sending in a change of address to the county elections office can easily slip the mind of even the most fastidious busy person.

If you have that “nagging feeling” that “they might not have my address right,” well, here’s a good number to call:

206-296-VOTE (8683)

That’s the customer service line of the King County Elections office.

They are open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Courteous, helpful and informed human beings with feelings will answer the phone quickly.

Call them today. The deadline to send in a change of address is Oct. 7.

Ballots will be mailed out to voters starting Oct. 16. Election Day itself (the deadline by which your ballot must be dropped off or mailed and postmarked) is November 5.
