REMINDER: Burien Arts Gallery’s grand opening is Thursday, Oct. 3!

After two years of searching and planning, Burien Arts will once again open the doors to their very own gallery space this Thursday, Oct. 3 at 4 p.m. at 826 SW 152nd Street in Olde Burien.

“Join us for the celebration from 4 – 8 p.m. as we launch with FLASHBACK!” reads an announcement. “Photographs from “The Sixties,” San Francisco/Los Angeles by photographers Mark Daughhetee and Ken DeRoux.”

They also add:

We would love your help in spreading the word about the only art gallery in the Highline Area! And be sure to bust out or borrow the bellbottoms, tie-dye and love beads and wear a flower in your hair.

    Such a wonderful addition to the community! Many thanks to all who worked so hard on this project! Stitching together all the pieces of this organizational quilt is an art form in itself! The final product is a warm gift that we can all enjoy!
