UPDATE: Honda Accord LX, stolen from Gregory Heights home, has been FOUND
UPDATE: Tuesday night (Oct. 8), Laura Stiles received a call from the sheriff’s office – they found her car four blocks from her house, parked in front of someone’s house.
“It was undamaged and still had a full tank of gas – ?” Laura said. “My glove box, coin box, and console were emptied out, but everything else was still there, including the contents of my trunk. Needless to say, I am very relieved, and hope to enjoy my dependable old Honda for a few more years.”
BTB Reader Laura Stiles wants everyone to be on the lookout for her car – a 1994 Honda Accord LX – which was stolen from the driveway of her home in Gregory Heights Saturday night, Oct. 5.

Here’s what Laura says about it:
HAVE YOU SEEN MY CAR?
My 1994 Honda Accord LX, champagne beige, was stolen last night (Saturday, Oct. 5) right out of our driveway in Gregory Heights. Apparently even 20-year old Hondas are appealing to car thieves…
Here’s a photo of a nice new one – mine looks just like this but a 4-door with a few scrapes on the bumper.
License plate AGS5429.
Three bumper stickers on the back bumper: “Dog is my Copilot,” “End this War,” and “Vote Environment.”
If you see it or have any other info, please contact the Burien police (206-296-3311), referencing case #13-234783.
This car had relatively low miles and still ran like a champ – it would be worth much more to me in usefulness than the small amount of insurance money I’ll receive due to its age.
Thanks for keeping eyes open!
