Local Boy Scouts holding ‘Haunted Hike’ in Burien this Saturday, Oct. 12

Boy Scout Troop 360’s annual ‘Haunted Hike’ will be this Saturday Oct. 12 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Kiwanis Schoenwald Park (behind Sylvester Middle School).

Cost is $2.00 per person.

“We’ve brought the “Haunted House” to the great outdoors, come be spooked as you walk through the trails of Kiwanis Schoenwald Park,” reads an announcement. “Family friendly fun!”

Finding the camp:

The entrance is not as simple as we would like.  To get to the camp gate, you need to enter Sylvester Middle School’s parking lot on the East side of Sylvester Rd SW
(green arrow location marked on the map below).  Then proceed around the back of the buildings on your right (follow the purple line), moving roughly South-East 100 yards to the entrance gate (another green arrow).

The Lodge is marked on the map below as a yellow house.

    This event is so fun, we have gone for the past couple of years. The Scouts do a great job, it’s fun for everyone. Can’t wait until Saturday!!
