The public is invited to have coffee with Congressman Jim McDermott on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. – Noon at Grand Central Bakery, located at 626 SW 152nd Street in Burien.

“Join Rep. Jim McDermott (WA-7) for a cup of coffee and a discussion of issues that are important to you,” reads an announcement. “Jim will provide a brief update on events in Congress and take questions. This is a good opportunity for the Congressman to hear your priorities and concerns.”

    Just what we need.

    Adam Smith was bad enough. He was arrogant, but at least he had a conscience.

    McDermott should have been arrested for treason back in 2003 when he went to Baghdad to be used as propaganda by the Iraqi regime. He’s alway splay footsie with dictators.

      I’m sure you and the 5 or 6 other Tea Party supporters in the 7th Congressional District think so. Jim’s victory margins, election after election, tell another story. Have you ever wondered why that is? Well I’ll tell you. It’s our answer to people of your political persuasion.
