Hi B-Town Blog,

I live on 12th and 151st in Burien, and my house was broken into Monday about 11:45 a.m.

I went to lunch for no more than 90 minutes and came back to a trashed house. Our street is full of people that are around most hours of the day, including myself as I work from home. THEY ARE WATCHING!

Our dog did not deter them, they actually fed her two pounds of steak we had in the fridge to keep her quiet (thankfully, they did not hurt her).

ANY opportunity they have, they WILL take it! They popped a window off the track even though it had a large wooden dowel in place to keep from opening completely.

Our security systems is being installed today!

Please share this with our community, I would like to remain anonymous…

Thanks for the heads up. Makes me glad I never bothered to get rid of the big screen TV. I wonder if it has anything to do with those weirdos who were selling cleaning supplies door to door a couple of weeks ago.

  2. Marty says:

I would like to know what the police are doing about it.. Did they come out and sweep for fingerprints??

  3. John Poitras says:

It seems likely it was either someone you know or someone was watching your house.

  4. Peggy says:

We also had a burglary a couple weeks ago, near 1st and 188th. They seemed to know our schedule and came during a 1 hour window when we were gone, thankfully. The police took the report, but this is not TV…they don’t have time to investigate these types of crimes.

  5. Tuan says:

My parents live on 26th and were robbed yesterday. Same deal, they pry through the windows and got in. Went through the bedrooms, found car keys and loaded it up and drove off with our car in a clean get away.
