“The burglars broke into our home, stole several purses, watches, jewelry then took off with our car,” he said. “Our house is located near Shorewood. I would like to offer a $1000 reward for recovery.”

The stolen vehicle is a slate blue 2010 Infiniti G37x, with Washington license plate 144-ZWO.

“It actually should be easy to identify because most infiniti’s do not have premium wheels,” he added. “Also ours is a G37x, which is really uncommon.”

The case number is 13-247938, and Detective John Hawkins and Sheriff Patrick McCurdy are on the case.

FYI, the 11800 block of 26th Ave SW is not in the Seahurst neighborhood. It’s actually in the Shorewood neighborhood.

Has anyone else that have lived here for a long time noticed a considerable uptick in crime ever since the city agreed to let Metro put in a transit hub station in down town Burien.
It serves a small portion of the residential population but it brings in an undesirable element that we really do not need. It also attracts an undesirable element that hang around the station who often harass passers by. I would like to see it removed or at the minimum policed better.

I don’t know the transit station has been here for year’s before it was rebuilt I have gone there plenty of times over the past 20 years or so and I have only been buged one time and it was a guy that I went to school with at the time that was just being a moron and trying to show off to his girlfriend . I have seen a few things go on up there but it usually just the kids messing around with each other and if you don’t feel safe there then avoid it catch other bus’s or just stay away during the night hours and you should be fine and I suggest carry ether pepper spray or a taser or even a little pocket knife if you feel the need to

p.s I also remember when a lot of the kids from the 3 tree point area use to hang out there because they didn’t agree with there parent’s and wanted to upset them. But this is burien where some people complain because kids where hanging out at the library

also it would be a little hard for people to carry stolen items on the bus like a couple of computers and a tv with out any one asking some questions

People complain about the kids hanging out at the library because they do not follow the posted rules and cause a disturbance. I’ve had my laptop cord run over by a scooter IN the library before, and the noise levels become so unbearable I cannot get the work done that I came to the library to do.
