20-year old Burien man pleads ‘Not Guilty’ for fatal beating of Kent woman

A Burien man was arraigned Monday morning (Nov. 4) and pleaded ‘Not Guilty’ to a charge of Murder in the First Degree for the fatal beating of a woman during a home invasion robbery in Kent on June 3.

The defendant – Michael Galloway, 20 – and two other men allegedly forced their way into the victim’s apartment in an attempt to rob the victim of money and prescription pills, according to the King County Prosecutor’s Office.

Galloway is scheduled for a case setting hearing on Dec. 9 in courtroom GA at the Maleng Regional Justice Center.

He remains in jail on $1 million bail. The investigation is ongoing.
