ELECTION RESULTS: 2nd round show City Council incumbents still losing

King County Elections released the second round of totals for Tuesday’s (Nov. 5) General Election, and the tallies for Burien City Council continues to show that all the current incumbents (Block, McGilton, Clark) are still losing.

While we aren’t expecting any changes in the outcomes at this time, here are some interesting notes:

  • Jack Block Jr. gained .17% on Lauren Berkowitz
  • Debi Wagner extended her lead over Joan McGilton by .04%
  • Rose Clark gained .15% on Nancy Tosta
  • Joey Martinez gained .03% on Steve Armstrong

City of Burien Council Position No. 1:

  • Lauren Berkowitz: 2838 52.19%
  • Jack Block, Jr.: 2585 47.54%
  • Write-in: 15 0.28%

vs FIRST RETURNS (a/o 11/5/13):

  • Lauren Berkowitz: 2394 52.33%
  • Jack Block, Jr.: 2167 47.37%
  • Write-in: 14 0.31%

City of Burien Council Position No. 3:

  • Joan McGilton: 2244 44.75%
  • Debi Wagner: 2760 55.03%
  • Write-in: 11 0.22%

vs FIRST RETURNS (a/o 11/5/13):

  • Joan McGilton: 2006 44.77%
  • Debi Wagner: 2464 54.99%
  • Write-in: 11 0.25%

City of Burien Council Position No. 5:

  • Nancy Tosta: 2909 57.72%
  • Rose Clark: 2120 42.06%
  • Write-in: 11 0.22%

vs FIRST RETURNS:

  • Nancy Tosta: 2607 57.84%
  • Rose Clark: 1889 41.91%
  • Write-in: 11 0.24%

City of Burien Council Position No. 7:

  • Steve Armstrong: 3133 62.24%
  • Joey Martinez: 1889 37.52%
  • Write-in: 12 0.24%

vs FIRST RETURNS (a/o 11/5/13):

  • Steve Armstrong: 2801 62.24%
  • Joey Martinez: 1687 37.49%
  • Write-in: 12 0.27%

King County Water District No. 49 Commissioner Position No. 2

  • David G. Lutz: 887 57.45%
  • Roger Gee: 654 42.36%
  • Write-in: 3 0.19%

vs FIRST RETURNS (a/o 11/5/13):

  • David G. Lutz: 795 58.07%
  • Roger Gee: 571 41.71%
  • Write-in: 3 0.22%

City of SeaTac Proposition No. 1 ($15/hour minimum wage):

  • Yes: 1967 53.21%
  • No: 1730 46.79%
