ELECTION RESULTS: 2nd round show City Council incumbents still losing

King County Elections released the second round of totals for Tuesday’s (Nov. 5) General Election, and the tallies for Burien City Council continues to show that all the current incumbents (Block, McGilton, Clark) are still losing.

While we aren’t expecting any changes in the outcomes at this time, here are some interesting notes:

City of Burien Council Position No. 1:

vs FIRST RETURNS (a/o 11/5/13):

  • Lauren Berkowitz: 2394 52.33%
  • Jack Block, Jr.: 2167 47.37%
  • Write-in: 14 0.31%

City of Burien Council Position No. 3:

vs FIRST RETURNS (a/o 11/5/13):

  • Joan McGilton: 2006 44.77%
  • Debi Wagner: 2464 54.99%
  • Write-in: 11 0.25%

City of Burien Council Position No. 5:

vs FIRST RETURNS:

  • Nancy Tosta: 2607 57.84%
  • Rose Clark: 1889 41.91%
  • Write-in: 11 0.24%

City of Burien Council Position No. 7:

vs FIRST RETURNS (a/o 11/5/13):

  • Steve Armstrong: 2801 62.24%
  • Joey Martinez: 1687 37.49%
  • Write-in: 12 0.27%

King County Water District No. 49 Commissioner Position No. 2

vs FIRST RETURNS (a/o 11/5/13):

  • David G. Lutz: 795 58.07%
  • Roger Gee: 571 41.71%
  • Write-in: 3 0.22%
