ELECTION RESULTS: Thursday’s totals show same trend – incumbents losing

On Thursday, King County Elections released the latest round of totals for Tuesday’s (Nov. 5) General Election, and the results for Burien City Council remains the same – all the current incumbents (Block, McGilton, Clark) are still losing.

City of Burien Council Position No. 1:

  • Lauren Berkowitz: 3227 52.40%
  • Jack Block, Jr.: 2916 47.35%
  • Write-in: 15 0.24%

City of Burien Council Position No. 3:

  • Joan McGilton: 2727 45.24%
  • Debi Wagner: 3290 54.58%
  • Write-in: 11 0.18%

City of Burien Council Position No. 5:

  • Nancy Tosta: 3487 57.41%
  • Rose Clark: 2575 42.39%
  • Write-in: 12 0.20%

City of Burien Council Position No. 7:

  • Steve Armstrong: 3732 61.71%
  • Joey Martinez: 2302 38.06%
  • Write-in: 14 0.23%

King County Water District No. 49 Commissioner Position No. 2

  • David G. Lutz: 1081 57.75%
  • Roger Gee: 788 42.09%
  • Write-in: 3 0.16%

  • Yes: 2252 52.07%
  • No: 2073 47.93%

City of SeaTac Council Position No. 2

City of SeaTac Council Position No. 4

  • Tony Anderson: 2996 97.81%
