Sing and Sketch C 1 12 12The monthly ‘Sing and Sketch’ will be returning this Thursday night, Nov. 14, this time to the new Burien Arts Gallery located at 826 SW 152nd Street.

“Burien Area (and extended) Artists – now that we finally have a new gallery space (yeah!!!) Lance and Laurie Haslund and yours truly are re-instituting the good old Sing-and-Sketch!” said Burien Arts Board President John Unbehend via email. “Lance and Laurie are asking their musical buddies to join them for a 1.5 hour jam session at the gallery and I’m inviting you to come on over to sketch the musicians (each other, the gallery, up to you!) for quality sketching time and a chance to talk art and music.”

The first Sing-and-Sketch Redux will be this Thursday evening, Nov. 14.

“Sorry about the short notice but we’re trying to get a lot back on track since we re-opened the Gallery,” Unbehend added. “Bring your boards, pads, pen, pencil, charcoal (sorry, no paints at Sing-and-Sketch, but watch for open painting sessions!) and beverage of your choice – we’ll supply the heat, chairs, music and good fellowship.”

WHEN: Second Thursday of each month – starting this Thursday, Nov. 14 – from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Burien Arts Gallery, 826 SW 152nd Street in Olde Burien.

“Artists – you don’t have to sing unless you want to!!!!”
