On Saturday (Jan. 25) afternoon just before 3 p.m., Normandy Park Police responded to a report of a shooting and found a deceased male in the 18500 block of Normandy Terrace SW (map here).

Police were initially dispatched to the 18100 block of Normandy Terrace SW on a report of an assault; while en route they got a second call of a shooting.

Medical Aid responded to both addresses, and found a deceased male victim at the second location.

A second victim was transported to Valley Hospital.

Officers booked Shane Chamberlain, a 23-year old male, for Murder 1 and Assault 1. He is the only suspect believed to be involved.

No more information about his relationship with the victims, or motives, has been released, as this crime is still being investigated.

Names of the victims have not been released yet either.

The Coalition of Small Police Agencies Major Crimes Task Force is assisting Normandy Park with this investigation. Any requests for additional information should be forwarded to Sergeant Brian Sommer at 206-248-7600.
