Downed tree causes power outage in Burien/White Center Thursday morning

A downed tree caused a power outage to approximately 7,900 customers in the Burien/White Center area Thursday morning.

Seattle City Light says that electricity was restored to most sometime between 8:30 – 9 a.m.

    If we all took advantage of our 2nd amendment rights, we could have shot that tree to smithereens the second it started falling. You can blame this outage on Obama.

    Glad everybody is ok and good job to Seattle City Light for getting the power on quickly.
    We are very fortunate to live in a part of the world where we have continuous power and when we don’t it gets fixed right away.
