Walking in Balance – FREE Class

How you take care of your feet can have a huge impact on your health. Join foot expert Eric Sach as he shares his knowledge of easy solutions to avoid foot problems. He will share how to walk with better balance and have happier feet to keep you active and moving. This event is part of the King County Library System’s Start to Fitness programming theme for 2014.

DATE & TIME: Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 3:30 – 4:30 PM

PLACE: Burien Library first-floor Multi-purpose Room

The Balanced Athlete store owner, Eric Sach has been running for 37 years (he ran his first marathon at age 12!). In the past, he has been an instructor for skiing, climbing, mountain biking, and mountaineering. He has worked for 25 years in the footwear industry. Eric’s ability to motivate runners of all abilities is perhaps why he is best known in the local running community. His deep knowledge in shoe fitting, bio-mechanics, and foot health has drawn clients all around the Sound and beyond. He has paced accomplished runners at ultra running events of the caliber of Western States, Cascade Crest Classic, Wasatch, and Leadville 100 mile races. He has been known to turn average 6 mile runners into 50K ultra runners by simply making them believe that they can do it.
