Welcome spring to Burien at the next ‘B-Town Beat Art & Music Walk’ in downtown Burien on Thursday night, April 3.

“Come down to B-Town and enjoy live art and music, for free!” reads an announcement. “Can’t wait to see you!”

There will also be an opening reception from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Burien Art Gallery (826 SW 152nd) featuring the work of Maureen Hoffmann, Colleen Monette, Marji Waller Thompson and Lory Steigers Newsom called “Hot Mess: Works in Encaustic by four Artists.”

The B-Town Beat is an independent not-for-profit organization formed in early 2013 with the mission of supporting the development of arts, economic stability and community in Burien. The organization accomplishes this primarily through its monthly Music & Art Walk and its second program, the Art Alley Project

The free event is held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every first Thursday of the month in downtown Burien.
