Burien Chapter Meeting – Gardening Tips For Your Children

ON YOUR MARK. LET’S GROW. Its time to get your flowers and vegetables started for this growing season. Sounds like a great idea for you and your children but you don’t know where to start????

It is easy to start plants in pots or in a small garden. Join us as we invite Jim Olson to show us how to get working on the basics of gardening and plant growing. Jim is a contractor in the Seattle area, a volunteer leader for 4-H, and he has been known to tell a good joke or two. He has had a 4-H family living club for many years and is King Counties 4-H guru on gardening in the Northwest. Come and learn and joke with Jim about all the fun your family can have this year creating and maintaining a garden.

WHEN: Monday, March 24, 2014, 7 – 9 p.m.

WHERE: Highline Christian Church / 14859 1st Ave S, Burien, WA 98168 (Basement)

Park in the parking lot behind the church. Enter through the back basement door on the older building.

Contact Bruce Mohr at 206-244-4074 or [email protected] with any questions.
