Help those affected by the Oso Mudslide; donate to state-approved relief agencies
As we’re sure our Readers know, a massive mudslide rocked our fellow citizens in Oso, WA, killing possibly as many as the eruption of Mt. St. Helens did in 1980 – making this one of the worst disasters in the state’s history.
In response to this devastating tragedy, the Washington State Combined Fund Drive – a state agency – has put together a special campaign for those affected.
It’s kind of a one-stop shop to donate to state-approved relief efforts, and the recipient charities include:
- American Red Cross
- Stanwood Camano Incident Support Team
- Snohomish County Volunteer Search and Rescue Unit
- The Soup Ladies
- United Way of Snohomish County
- Washington State Department of Transportation Memorial Foundation
