BREAKING: A team of reformed piledrivers-turned-scavengers has recovered a submerged, disc-shaped object off the eastern shores of Maury Island, and will be displaying it at tonight’s ‘Burien UFO Festival’ (BUFO) in front of the Tin Room Bar & Theater at 923 SW 152nd Street.

The object, which oddly has the words “Maury Island Incident 1947” stenciled on it, looks almost handmade….BUT…like it sat outside in a muddy driveway and was rained on repeatedly.

“This is an historic find,” said Crew Captain Chris Fredman. “It could be the first flying disc recovered from saltwater that was resistant to corrosion, or to the growth of barnacles or other sea life on it. That’s kinda weird!”

Curious residents are invited to investigate the object in person tonight – Tuesday, April 1 – as it will be on display on SW 152nd near the Tin Room starting around 6 p.m.;

    Saw the helicopter hovering over Olde Burien for quite some time last evening… will the B-Town Blog be showing footage from it? or other photos? Please share as I was unable to attend… Turns out that taking advantage of a nice sunny evening to do yard work is almost as rare as a UFO sighting!!!! 😛

    Love it!
    I hope that movie about the Maury Island Incident finishes soon. Anxious to see it.
    Then I hope it becomes a major motion picture too!
