Tree knocks out power to over 2,900 in Burien Saturday night

UPDATE: Jonica Combs is reporting that power was restored in Olde Burien just before 10 p.m.

PREVIOUSLY:

Seattle City Light is reporting of two power outages – one caused by a downed tree in an area in Burien from downtown to Three Tree Point Saturday night around 8:41 p.m.; and the second – which is still under investigation – in North Burien.

Estimated time of repair for the downtown area is 11:44 p.m., and 4 a.m. for the North Burien outage.

Most likely this was caused by one of the spring storms predicted earlier today by our own Puget Sound Weather Geek:
