Got blood? Blood Drive this Friday at Highline Medical Center
As you probably know by now, our community’s need for precious blood products, to save lives and improve the quality of life for patients, never goes away – and that’s why Highline Medical Center will be holding a Blood Drive this Friday, May 9.
Every two minutes someone is Western Washington needs blood. This means the Puget Sound Blood Center must collect around 900 pints of blood, per weekday, to meet this demand.
“We hope to collect 25 pints of blood (of the 900 pints we need to collect across Western Washington on Friday) at the drive below. Will you be a donor this Friday?”
WHEN YOU GIVE BLOOD AND GIVE 1 HOUR OF YOUR TIME… YOU GIVE DAYS, WEEKS, YEARS OF TIME TO SOMEONE WHO DEPENDS ON YOUR LIFE SAVING GIFT.
WHEN: Friday, May 9, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm (registration closed 11:30 am to 12:30 pm).
