Deadline to apply to be in the Burien Independence Day Parade is June 5
The deadline to apply to be in Burien’s annual Independence Day Parade – sponsored by the Southwest King County Chamber of Commerce – is Thursday, June 5.
The Burien Independence Day Parade has become a longstanding tradition in the community and is an enjoyable parade to watch. The parade route is filled with marching bands, dance teams, vintage autos, floats and more. The parade takes place in Downtown Burien which offers a diverse mix of business, retail and restaurants, along with the central landmarks of Burien Town Square and City Hall.
Everyone is invited to come and be a part of this annual Burien tradition. Partners for this parade are the City of Burien and the Southwest King County Chamber.

The parade begins at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 4, 2014, at Ambaum Boulevard SW and SW 149th Street. The route will head South on Ambaum, East on SW 153rd, North on 2nd Ave SW, then West on SW 152nd.
