Burien’s annual Wild Strawberry Festival is just two weeks away (we’ll have a booth, as usual!) – Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15 – and the City of Burien released a promotional video about it:

The Highline Community Symphonic Band’s “Band-a-Palooza” will be back for both days with an assortment of regional symphonic bands, big bands, Sousa bands and more, along with Brazilian music, Taiko drummers, and the tremendous kids band, the Not-Its!

You’ll also enjoy fabulous roving entertainment, food booths, crafts, and exhibits.

The carnival is back again this year with lots of fun rides and games.

And don’t forget to get some of the Festival’s fresh strawberry shortcake.

On Sunday, bring Dad and the entire family to the Father’s Day Car Show and Chili Cook-off next to Town Square on SW 152nd Street.

The Wild Strawberry Festival is FREE.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
