City’s Pet License renewal deadline is June 30
The City of Burien is reminding pet owners that the deadline for license renewals is Monday, June 30.
“The City requires pet owners to purchase/renew a license annually for all dogs and cats 6 months of age or older,” reads a note in the city newsletter.
Licenses are valid from July 1 until June 30.
The cost is $20 for altered pets, $50 for unaltered pets, and $5 lost tag replacement.

Residents 65 years of age and older may obtain a special permanent license for the lifetime of their altered pet for a one-time charge of $15. Proof of spay/neuter must be submitted.
