‘Sing & Sketch’ will be at Burien Arts Gallery this Thursday night, June 12
Musicians–grab your instruments. Artists–grab your drawing pads.
Then join together between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. this Thursday, June 12 for Burien Arts’ unique Sing & Sketch program at the new Burien Arts Gallery, 826 SW 152nd Street in Olde Burien.
Burien Arts’ Sing & Sketch is a monthly program that is intended to provide a FREE ongoing, drop-in opportunity for visual artists and musicians to interact and enjoy making art and music together in an informal setting.
Musicians trade songs and riffs while artists capture the moments on paper. Writers are welcome to share their words as well.
The program is on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 6:30 – 8 pm.
There is no fee for participating and no pre-registration.

The mission of Burien Arts Association is to engage, enrich and entertain all the communities, generations and visitors to the Burien and Greater Highline area through creative and innovative arts programming. The non-profit was founded in the 1960s and for years operated a gallery in the little blue house at Dottie Harper Park.
In fall 2013, Burien Arts Association opened an exciting new gallery in Olde Burien at 826 S.W. 152nd St.
Burien Arts Association programming also includes the delicious Strawberry Shortcake booth at Burien’s annual Wild Strawberry Festival coming up this Saturday and Sunday at Town Square Park.
Also this summer, Burien Arts Association sponsors Shakespeare in the Park at Dottie Harper Park. “Othello” plays Saturday, July 26 from 6:30- 9 p.m. and “Love’s Labour Lost” is presented Saturday, Aug. 2, 6:30 – 9 p.m.
