Highline Premier FC, the advanced development program of the Highline Soccer Association, announced its formal affiliation with US Club Soccer and the Puget Sound Premier League (PSPL), the fastest growing league for competitive teams in Washington State.

Highline Premier FC (HPFC) teams will join the PSPL in force for the 2014-15 season, competing in various divisions commensurate with each team’s level of play. The affiliation with PSPL and US Club Soccer offers several compelling benefits for our soccer community. The PSPL’s platform of competitive opportunities is numerous. It offers league play based on promotion/relegation. Teams are matched by ability level and then rise or fall based on their competitive merit. Top teams can qualify for the Northwest Champions League, the Pacific Coast Super Cup, the Washington State Premier League, the National Premier League Champion’s Cup, and the US Club Regionals. What’s more, the PSPL offers coaching education that includes the popular annual Coaching Summit, new PSPL Academy teams for the league’s best players, and the Washington Cup tournament – the US Club sanctioned state cup.

President Kevin Elicker explains:

“Highline Premier training has always focused first on individual player development. Highline Premier’s unique partnership with Coerver NW speaks volumes to this commitment. Our shared aim is to facilitate technical skill mastery while inspiring every player to become more confident and creative on the ball. We believe that US Club Soccer and the PSPL are a great fit for our membership because the affiliation removes barriers that interfere with the delivery of our community-based player development model while affording players and teams legitimate pathways to reach the highest level of play.”
