The first-ever ‘Awesome Kids Day,’ a family event co-sponsored by the Burien Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department and Collins Chiropractic, will be held at Burien Town Square Park this Saturday, July 12.

This is an event for children of all ages and families in the Burien and South Seattle areas.

Activities include face painting, Full Tilt ice cream, bouncy houses, interactive games and challenges, crafts, giveaways, and a special musical performance by Recess Monkey.

“The event is designed to celebrate the natural joyful and healthy state of our children,” reads an announcement. Families are invited to celebrate with us at Burien Town Square Park at SW 152nd St. and 5th Ave. SW on Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

It’s free to attend and open to the public.

This is the third kids event that Collins Chiropractic has done in Burien, and this year they are excited to partner with the Burien Parks Department to make it bigger and better than ever.

“Kids were born to thrive. They were born to be healthy. We want to celebrate how awesome our kids are,” said Dr. Aaron Collins.
