Here’s what all the police activity was about near Trader Joe’s Friday afternoon

A major police turnout in the Five Corners neighborhood of Burien – near Trader Joe’s on SW 160th – was reported to us late Friday afternoon, and Sgt. DB Gates of the King County Sheriff’s Office told The B-Town Blog that the action was “to recover a stolen car with a couple of people detained.”

No other details were available.

    Sounds like my wish was granted for more police presence down on the SE end of town, to bad it took something that simple to cause them to drop by and make an appearance.

    Funny because what most people saw around here looked a lot like a drug buy being held in a parking lot but who knows. Why not both.
