How do you get around, Burien?

That’s the question from Burien In Motion, a King County Metro program running this summer in partnership with WABI Burien, Discover Burien, and The B-Town Blog. If you answered “by car,” they’re looking to change your answer by October by offering a free ORCA card good for two weeks of unlimited trips on public transit as well as information on biking, walking, taking the bus and sharing rides through carpool and vanpool programs.

No car? No problem – you can still sign up with Burien In Motion and track your travel trips.

Each week that you enter two or more trips, your name could be drawn for gift certificates from local businesses. You can also get your friends involved and start a team: between August 18th and September 15th, trips will count towards special rewards in a city-wide challenge.

Visit to get started.
