There’s nothing like a good ol’ summertime circus, and Burienites will have several chances to enjoy a showing starting this Thursday, Aug. 7 and continuing through Monday, Aug. 11.

American Crown Circus, based in Las Vegas, is coming to town.

See the Wheel of Death! Incredible magic, acrobats and The Amazing Trapeze!

All under the Big Top Tent, which is going up right now.

Location: Moshier Field 430 S. 156th Street, Burien, next to Highline High School Stadium.

Get your tickets at the gate. They are very affordable.

“For every paying adult, two children under the age of ten are free,” said Frank Osorio of the circus. “We are pleased to be working in a partnership with the city of Burien Parks and Recreation Department.”

Performances:

  • Thursday: 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday & Saturday – 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Thank you for sharing that link Jimmy, the Yelp listing provides a lot of info that is not available in the story, or on the Circus’s website.

I went to the 7:30 show on Saturday night and found more than enough value for my $18.00 ticket. All the kids around me were having a great time and I believe they got in free, the acts sometimes get corny but overall a decent value if you enjoy a authentic small circus.
