42nd Street Color
Once a Hi-Liner, always a Hi-Liner” has been the rallying call since the organization was founded in 1966, and has been reiterated each year since 1994 when MainStage first took to the Highline PAC stage.
It means that as members of The Hi-Liners you are more than just a cast member, you are a member of a larger performing family.
2014 is a landmark year for The Hi-Liners Musical Theatre – it is the 20th consecutive year of Hi-Liner MainStage that began with “Hello Dolly” in 1994 and has returned each year since, which this year’s reprise of their most popular production, “42nd Street.” It is also the 48th anniversary of the founding of The Hi-Liners by the late Bill Moeller and Marilyn Culton. It should be noted Marilyn recently celebrated her 100th birthday!
In celebration of these anniversaries, The Hi-Liners are inviting all the members of the family to come home to Alumni Night on Sept. 6; anyone who has been a Hi-Liner 1960’s to 1991 or any member of a MainStage cast from 1994 to 2013, Alumni Night will be at the opening show.
“We will be recognizing all of you for your contribution to the life of this organization,” reads an announcement.
