[EDITOR’S NOTE: The following article is from our youngest-ever Contributor – 10-year old Isabel Herbruger – who has been submitting stories and photos as part of her effort to earn a Girl Scout badge for journalism, as well as qualify for a 4H photography project. She also has three brothers on the Highline wrestling team. We encourage residents of all ages to submit stories and photos for posting – for consideration, please email yours to editor@b-townblog.com!] Photos and article by Isabel Herbruger, age 10 Here are my best photos from the Highline versus Foster wrestling meet on Jan. 8. There were only four wrestlers from Foster. Highline had a full team except for the 138 class. Foster won two matches by points. Highline won one match by a pin and the other by points. All the forfeits from Foster gave Highline lots of points to win the meet 58 to 7. “Before this meet I never thought of wrestling being like art,” Isabel said. “My favorite is #4 because Zach and the other wrestler look like they are posing, but they are actually in a close battle for points. Zach lost that match 2 to 4. In photo #7, I like how the two wrestlers together look like a centaur.” Click images to see larger versions/slideshow: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7]]>
