The ‘Battle of Burien’ dance competition will be at community center this Saturday

The “Battle of Burien” b-boy/b-girl dance competition will be this Saturday night, Jan. 17, starting at 5 p.m. at the Burien Community Center.

“We’re coming back with the same purpose as we started with,” reads an announcement. “We want to provide a platform for up and coming bboys/bgirls, and all styles dancers to express themselves. We also want to pay homage to the veterans, and OG’s (original groovers) of the scene.”

  1. I’ve been attending the Tai Chi for Arthritis class since March, 2014 and am so disappointed that it’s been cancelled. This is a great class and Debbie Karlin is an incredible instructor. I hope you’ll reinstate the class before too long.
