The school year is wrapping up and summer is right around the corner! But what will you do this summer? Well I have some great activities that are fun for the entire family! Geocaching: Geocaching is a like a scavenger hunt around town. You can buy the app on the App Store and it gives you hints about where the Caches are hidden. Some are easy and some are very complex. To learn more about Geocaching go to https://www.geocaching.com/play Burien Fountain Park: The Burien Fountain Park is located right next to the Burien Public Library. It has several places to sit for the parents to watch their kids play in the water. There’s also a Farmers Market on Thursdays right there. So right after you get your shopping done, your kids can go play! $1 Regal Summer Movies: In the summer, Regal Theaters have movies playing and admission is only $1 on certain days. It’s a very fun activity and saves money! To learn more please go to http://www.regmovies.com/Movies/Summer-Movie-Express Father’s Day Car Show: The Father’s Day Car Show has blocks of classic cars! So if you like to look at cars or are thinking about buying a classic car this is the event for you! Beginning June 6th from 10am-2pm. And on Wednesdays, beginning July 1st from 3pm-7pm. Spring Carnival: The Spring Carnival is located in Downtown Burien. It begins on June 18 and ends on June 21. There’s a carnival, venders, and arts and crafts!
