This post was updated with new information on July 6, 2015: A female driver accidentally rammed her car into a gas pump at the AM-PM Market on SW 136th and Ambaum Blvd. SW on Saturday afternoon (July 4), starting a fire: IMG_3957 IMG_4177 Bill Harms of the Burien/Normandy Park Fire Department says that the driver, who was leaving the store, over-corrected her turn and then had a malfunction with the brake/gas pedal. She then ran over one pump and came to rest against another. Automatic gas pump shutoffs worked but not before spilling enough fuel that the pump ignited and spread to the car. The Driver got out safely and the dollar loss was approximately $50,000. Photos courtesy Jerrod Sessler.]]>

  1. Looks like a quick wash and wax will have the car back in service.
Or are things such as a new wiring harness, complete interior, new glass, new engine, new transmission, new tires, and perhaps new brakes necessary to car function?
