Photos and Story by Isabel Herbruger, age 11

On Monday, Dec. 14, 2015 Highline, Renton, and Kennedy had a Gymnastics meet in the Kennedy gym.
If you have never been to a meet before, it is very different from what you see on TV. There are four events going on at the same time – the vault, the uneven bars, the balance beam, and the floor exercise. My favorite one to shoot was the floor exercises.

This meet was very close. The Pirates scored 114 points. Kennedy scored 115 and Renton scored 117.

Their next meet is Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at the Evergreen campus. It is against Hazen and starts at 7 p.m.

Thank you for your time and consideration,
Isabel H.
