Washington Clay Arts Association is presenting a FREE ‘Day of Clay’ this Saturday, Jan. 9 at the Burien Library – all day!

“Join us at the Burien Library for this year’s WCA Winter Social. For the entire day we have informative presentations, library resources, exhibitions and social gatherings coordinated just for you!

Meet the Author Melinda Marie Jetté at the Burien Library on Thursday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m.

Join historian Melinda Jette, author of At the Hearth of the Crossed Races: A French-Indian Community in Nineteenth-Century Oregon, 1812-1859.

Learn about the social history of the nineteenth century French Prairie settlement in Willamette Valley, now commemorated by the Champoeg State Heritage Area in Marion County.

Books will be available for purchase and signing.
