It started with the “Taking Down Pancreatic Cancer Tournament” on Jan. 23, 2016. The Pirates faced four teams. First was a loss to Quincy (24-48). Decatur also beat the Pirates (12-60). The Pirates beat both Liberty (49-22) and Skyline (43-26). Overall the Pirates took 5th place out of eight teams. This was Senior Night for eight team members. Lots of Pirates wrestled each other. The only team to beat them was Renton (7-0). Renton and Highline wrestle each other at Sub-Regionals.
