David Bowie tribute band ‘BowieVision’ to play Burien UFO Festival Friday, April 1

Organizers of the Burien UFO Festival announced that a David Bowie tribute band – BowieVision – will headline the musical portion of the annual event, set to land in Olde Burien starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 1:

In addition to this outstanding musical act, there will also be a funk band, DJ, costume contest and fashion show, pop-up Mystery Museum, graffiti mural making, bouncey house, face painting, UFOs, and of course the showing and awarding of the winning Burien Film Festival films (NOTE: the deadline for registering for the 2016 Burien Film Festival is March 1; details here).


Oh and don’t forget that this is an all-ages block party, complete with food trucks, beer gardens and much more.


Here’s the BUFO/BFF 2016 Schedule of Events:

  • 6-7 p.m.: Twisted Groove – “Seattle’s finest in original funk.”
  • 7-7:45 p.m.: DJ Ramiro Gutierrez: Founder of Uniting Souls with special guests!
  • 7:45-8:15 p.m.: Costume Contest/Fashion Show
  • 8:15-9:15 p.m.: Bowie Vision – David Bowie Tribute Band
  • 9:15-10 p.m.: Burien Film Festival Awards and Film Showing
