Fine art photographer and creativity coach Melissa McClain displays her photographs at the Burien Arts Gallery in June, together with oil paintings by Greta Dutton.

The exhibit runs until June 25.

The Gallery is located at 826 SW 152nd Street.

Melissa spent her corporate career in Crisis Management, focusing on Survivor and Family Assistance.

Working with her camera led to a passion for color, texture, and shape. Her Water Colors Collection, macro images created from photos of the bottoms of boats, are abstract art with imagination.

No matter where the camera takes Melissa, her images have a strong painterly feel and speak to people through color and artistry.

Greta Dutton started painting as a child and studied art in college as well as with Pomona Hallenbeck, Mary Ann Davis, and John Budicin. Her art draws from her emotions and memories of her life’s journey. An Indiana native, she now lives with her family in Seattle. Find out more about Greta at gretadutton.com.

Also in June, Artists United presents a small works show of affordable art by over 20 local artists. The show will feature a range of media, including oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, collage, photography, mixed media, fiber, and colored pencil.  All pieces will measure less than 12″ x 12”.
