If you’re unable to catch Burien’s 95th annual Independence Day Parade in person on Monday, July 4, there’s now another way you can watch it – LIVE on The B-Town Blog’s Facebook page!

We are proud to announce that we’ll be streaming LIVE video/audio from the parade, which will start at 3 p.m. on Monday.

Our amazingly high-tech, expensive HD camera/crew (okay, it’s just an iPhone and some friends from Discover Burien) will be streaming live video from high up in the Burien Town Square condos, and the feed will go out on our Facebook page starting at 3 p.m. on Monday, July 4.

The video will be free to watch, and you can comment live during it – BUT, in order to view it, you must “Like” us on Facebook here:

Here’s a 2:46 test video we ran on Thursday, June 30 that shows what it might look like (although the camera will be steady and mounted up on a tripod looking down, hopefully from the corner unit balcony at SW 152nd Street and 5th Place SW (NOTE: Monday’s live video feed will only be viewable from our Facebook page – have you “Liked” it yet?):
