Students will learn about the ‘hands on’ work that takes place in a radio station, television studio, and in other digital fields. You will be presented with opportunities to produce and appear in live podcasts and TV shows, and you’ll get to experience field trips to various TV and radio stations. Would you like to start a podcast or YouTube channel while still in high school. In Broadcast Communications create your own podcasts (music, interviews, debates, etc. and post them just like the porfessionals on the Rainy City Radio website using top pro-grade microphones and studio equipment. Work with Adobe Audition to edit audio. Learn about radio broadcasting too. A fascinating blend of different media formats with PSSCtv news channel, photography, videoography and  people skills.  Field trips to King5 TV, live show audience members, radio stations, Pike Place Market for photos and other related sites.  You may discover your passion for broadcasting in so many new tech savy fields. The internet on mobile devices is how your generation connects and where Broadcasting Communications is already.
