FOLLOWUP: Sunday morning shooting kills 27-year old man in Burien

FOLLOWUP: Early Sunday morning (Sept. 4) around 4:30 a.m., police responded to the area of S. 128 Street and 21st Ave S. (map below) for a report of shots being fired.

(Previously we reported that the shooting victim was injured; we have since confirmed with police that he passed away.)

Within minutes of responding, police were told that a man with multiple gunshot wounds had been driven by friends to Highline Medical Center in Burien.

Detectives learned that the victim, a 27-year old Sacramento man, had been at a party with friends at a house nearby. The victim left the party on foot and a short time later, friends found him on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim died from his gunshot wounds.

His identity has not yet been released.

There is no information yet on possible suspects.
