Photos and Story by Isabel Herbruger, age 12

Here are Pirate updates from the past week (or: the Pirates have been really busy!).

Cross Country:
On 10/6/16, the Pirates lost to Tyee and beat Renton at Valley Ridge in Sea-Tac. Pirates have had a friendly and competitive rivalry with Renton since before I started to shoot sports. Sometimes it makes starts and finishes a little more fun to watch. There was another winning meet on Thursday at North Sea-Tac Park. It was too wet and windy to be out with my camera. The next run is Subdistricts on October 22 at Fort Steilacoom.

Girls Swim and Dive:
On 10/13/16, the Pirates were at the Foster Pool. The girls are pretty good at diving. They can moonwalk, promote the new movie Trolls, and perform amazing flips all in the blink of an eye! They have their last two meets this week on Tuesday and Thursday.
