This past Friday night (Oct. 28), the annual Dia De Los Muertos or “Day of the Dead” celebration was once again held at the Burien Community Center.
This traditional event brings story-telling, music, dance, food and more together for a day of remembrance for relatives and friends that have passed on. A key part of the celebration are ofrendas, or altars, that are offerings to the cherished dead.
