Purchasing a couple of small works featured in December is a great way to say goodbye to the Burien Arts Gallery in Olde Burien, as these small art pieces make perfect holiday gifts.

Many of the small pieces were exhibited at Vision 20/20, Burien’s biggest art party, held Nov. 19 at the Burien Community Center.

Artists United will also present small works at the Gallery.

Artists’ Receptions will be held Friday, Dec. 2, and on Saturday, Dec. 3 during Burien’s Winterfest. Both receptions are set for 5-8 p.m. at the Gallery, 826 SW 152nd Street.

The gallery is open WednesdaySaturdaynoon-6 p.m. and Sundaynoon-4 p.m.

For more information, visit or call 206-244-7808.

The Gallery will close permanently at its current location on Dec. 24.

The Burien Arts Association has announced that its fine arts gallery is transitioning to a new and exciting Mobile Gallery.

Burien Arts Association’s free art exhibits will be displayed in different spaces around the city, beginning with our January show featuring the fine detailed drawings of Danny Bobrow at the City Municipal Offices, on the third floor of the Burien Library building, 400 SW 152nd Street.

Look for Mobile Gallery updates on the Burien Arts website.
