You have two chances to attend a final Opening Reception at the Burien Arts Gallery in Olde Burien.

The Burien Arts Association will host its usual First Friday Opening Reception this Friday, Dec. 2, 5-8 p.m. at the Gallery, 826 S.W. 152nd St.

In addition, Burien Arts presents a second Opening Reception as part of Burien’s Winterfest on Saturday, Dec. 3, also 5-8 p.m. at the gallery. Gift-wrapping is available all day Saturday at the Gallery.

December’s featured exhibit is perfect for the holiday season—affordable small works that make ideal gifts.

Several of the small pieces were exhibited at Vision 20/20, Burien’s biggest art party. Many are by local artists from Artists United.

Also pick up the perfect gift that keeps on giving joy throughout the year — beautiful gift cards created by artists with the Burien Art Gallery. These artistic handmade cards are a great choice for your holiday “small gifts” shopping. Pick up some for friends and family while they last. Don’t miss this holiday opportunity for great deals on unique handmade jewelry, too!
This weekend is your last opportunity to attend a reception gala at the Gallery. It will close permanently at its current location on Christmas Eve.

Burien Arts Association’s free fine-art exhibits will continue to be displayed in different spaces around the city, beginning with our January show featuring the fine detailed drawings of Danny Bobrow at the City Municipal Offices, on the third floor of the Burien Library building, 400 S.W. 152nd St.

The Gallery is open Wednesday-Saturday, noon-6 p.m. and Sunday, noon-4 p.m.
