From our friends at WABI Burien:

There’s a special meetup spot and walking route for our December 2017 Walk-n-Talk, coming up this Sunday, Dec. 4.

Come join us!

We’ll meet at the Recology Store Highline for a tour and introduction to the great things they’re doing and the “green” eco products they offer, (including items made from old bicycle inner tubes and reassembled new/old bikes among many other things). If you have some holiday gift shopping to do, you’ll find things for home, office and personal use, for adults and kids alike. All walkers will receive 15% off of purchases they make that day. (Click on the photo below for a larger view of this very cool store.)

From the store, we’ll walk south and east along Des Moines Memorial Drive, under 509 and through the Blakely Manor neighborhood. Along the way we’ll see a couple of waterfalls on Miller Creek.

(Please click on the map for a larger view, then print it out and bring it with you to the walk, if you’d like.)
