UPDATE JAN. 1, 2017 1 p.m.: Looks like power has been restored to all but 865 customers, according to Seattle City Light:

PREVIOUSLY:

A power outage caused by a tree knocked out electricity to over 4,000 customers in Burien on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017.

Seattle City Light says the outage started at 11:41 a.m., and the estimated restoration time is 4 p.m.

Some 4,052 homes and businesses lost power, so if you’re affected, looks like you’d better get to one of Burien’s local establishments that’s not in the outage area to watch the Seahawk game!
