Seeking Wellness in 2017? Art, Yoga and Meditation could be your Key Ingredient!

Discover the benefits of these healthy practices at AdvertiserLake Burien Physical Therapy.

Along with all the traditional services you would expect from a physical therapy practice, Orit Hickman, Owner and Lead Physical Therapist and her team have found that many of their clients often benefit from a little something more. Journeys of healing often include a need to slow the mind and redirect intentionally to energize your body’s own healing abilities. Art, Yoga and Meditation have all been shown to aid in this process. A 2014 piece in TIME magazine went so far as to proclaim:

”We need to take meditation as seriously as medicine.”

So, are you ready for some serious-and fun medicine? Take a look at the latest offerings from Lake Burien PT. You’ll find a variety of programs at different times to fit your busy schedule. Some are offered on a drop-in basis and others require registration, so you can choose the commitment that is best for you. We can even schedule a private group art event! Take a look and feel free to call our Arts and Wellness Coordinator, Lory Newsom or click today to unlock your inner wellness.
